Joules Mini Tin of Treasures Review and COMPETITION!

So I’m a really big fan of the shop Joules and am totally in love with their pretty floral designs. I also love seeing their body care products, usually in Boots over the Christmas period, in super cute packaging. So when I saw this collection of goodies I was really eager to try them! Read on for my thoughts on the products and a chance to blag yourself your very own set!

Smooth the Day Away Body Lotion (75ml)

A standard body lotion in all senses. It comes out of the tube quite quickly and a little bit of this product goes a long way. It is quick and easy to apply and moisturises well. As with all the products in this set, the scent is lovely. Fresh and floral and not too overpowering. A great product to throw in your handbag for moisturising goodness throughout the day.

Happy and Hydrating Body Butter (50ml)

When I first opened the tin I was quite shocked at the texture of the body butter. This is the most ‘butter like’ body butter I have ever used! Body butters I have used in the past, mainly those from The Body Shop, have been softer and what I would say are more ‘whipped’. Therefore you just need to be a little more forceful getting it out and to spend a bit more time warming the butter up between your fingers before applying it to your body. It however is still a moisturising body butter that does a good job. I would be inclined to choose this product over the body lotion when I have a bit more time on my hands.

Feel Good Floral Body Wash (75ml)

So this quite simply is a shower gel. I found with this product you needed quite a lot for it to become soapy enough for it to be put all over your body. Therefore I don’t think this product would last very long. However, I do really love the scent of this product and like the other products in the set it feels moisturising and soft on your skin.

Lovely Scrubbly Body Scrub  (50ml)

When I started using this product, it reminded me that I hadn’t used body scrubs in what felt like forever! And now I don’t want to stop! This body scrub feels quite fine and isn’t abrasive to the skin. This works well for me as my skin can sometimes feel quite sensitive. After working the product in circular motions before washing it off, it leaves my skin feeling refreshed and smooth.

So overall I really like this set of products. Its handy that they come in a cute tin that can be used for other things. Mine is currently  sitting at school filled with my stampers, looking pretty on my desk. With the products being minis, they are obviously small in size, therefore perfect for taking away on holiday without weighing your case down. However that also means that they’ll run out sooner, especially the shower gel which I use quite liberally. Once that happens though I’ll be sure to treat myself to another collection of goodies from this fab brand.

Fancy this set in your life? Get it here from the Joules outlet! They’re also offering 3 for 2 at the moment on their Bath and Body Collection
